  • Next Ordinary Council Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 13 March 2018 starting at 6:30pm in the Hawker Hospital Community Room. Public are encouraged to attend all Council meetings.
  • Council's old phone number has been switched off after 4 years of transition. Please phone 08 8620 0500 for all Council business.
  • nbn Co have advised that the fixed wireless service has been switched on in Quorn. Contact your service provider for access to high speed internet.
  • Council will be consulting on the location and form of the new Quorn Skate Park between the 16 and 18 March 2018. Further details on Council's website.
  • Council has contractors undertaking pigeon control utilising air rifles in Quorn.
  • Country Arts SA are hosting the "Wharf Revue" at Emily's Bistro on Friday 16 March 2018 at 8:00pm. Tickets are $10.00 and available from the Flinders Ranges Visitor Information Centre, Quorn. Limited seats available.

The Flinders Ranges Council area extends from Mount Brown Creek and Pichi Richi pass in the south to Arkaba in the north, a distance in excess of 100 kilometres. It takes in the western side of the Flinders Ranges to near Carrieton and Cradock in the East a distance of approximately 45 kilometres. In total it is 4,198 square kilometres of the magical Flinders Ranges. The townships of Quorn, Hawker and Cradock service the council area.
