FRC Media Release Opening and Closure of Council Facilities

CLOSURE OF COUNCIL FACILITIES

DUE TO COVID 19 [CORONAVIRUS]

1st June 2020

Council has assessed its current operations and has determined that the following facilities are now open:

Remember the social distancing rule still applies

The following facilities will reopen from Monday 1st June:

  • The Visitor Information Centre (Quorn);
  • Quorn Community Hall;
  • Quorn Town Hall;
  • Hawker Institute;
  • Warren Gorge for camping and walking

The following facilities remain open:

  • Thompson Park;
  • Quorn Skate Park;
  • Blue Burt Park;
  • Playground at the Quorn Community Oval;
  • Landfill Hawker;
  • Waste Transfer Station Quorn;
  • Council Office Quorn;
  • Council Depot Quorn;
  • Council Depot Hawker;
  • Parks, Gardens and open areas;
  • Sewage Treatment Plant Quorn;
  • Sewage Treatment Plant Hawker;
  • Public Toilets;

The Flinders Ranges Council will be continuing to assess the risk for staff and the community and will keep the community informed of any changes.
