The Flinders Ranges Council is seeking to appoint a Project Coordinator to provide Council with improved project management capacity on an ongoing basis. This is an ideal position for someone who is looking to be involved in exciting and innovative projects, while exploring the majestic Flinders Ranges.
The position will be responsible for the delivery of Council’s annual project works and grant funded works in conjunction with the Director of Works. The position will also provide broad technical support, including the development of maintenance and asset management practices. The position requires a good understanding of grant funding, scoping works for grant applications and grant acquittals.
The ability to manage procurement processes, scoping work, report writing and project management as key skills. The role will be broader than purely capital works and will focus on projects for the entire organisation, including the delivery of tourism and community based projects.
This is a “hands-on” position for an organised communicator with a focus on continuous improvement.
