Elizabeth House Backpacker and Hostel

Elizabeth House Backpackers was originally known as Hartley Lodge 1923, Flinders House 1962 and was the first hospital in Quorn.

We are a family owned and operated business and our goal is to provide quality accommodation in a unique safe environment.

We are located just 30klm from Port Augusta, 290klm from Adelaide and in walking distance to all the attractions, cafes and pubs located in our beautiful town of Quorn.

Our rooms range from King @$90 per night, Queen @$80 per night, Small single bunks @$70pn single and $80pn Twin share. We also do deals for group booking for the entire property by arrangement.

Our shared common areas have all the comforts of home in a friendly laid back environment and if you don't feel like cooking, it's only a short walk to the main street. We also supply a BBQ in our entertainment area for your convenience.

For those looking for a little bit of adventure on their  trip, don't pass up the chance to climb to the summit of Devil's Peak, a 2.4Klm return bushwalk. Not to mention all the other walking/heritage trails available around the Flinders Ranges.

Elizabeth House has become a popular hub to Heysen Hikers and Mawson Trail Riders alike, but we do cater for all travellers.

Even if you choose to stay in another location, please feel free to drop by and view our spectacular wall mural by Joel Plevin.
