Owner built 2 storey pole frame timber home overlooking Quorn in the Flinders Ranges, home to Pichi Richi Railway and 1.5 hrs to Wilpena Pound.
The space
Set amongst native scrub land, very quiet, lots of birds, very clear views of the Milky Way ('river of stars'). Welcome to explore and discover 4kms of 5'' gauge model steam railway line being built on the property. You'll see how unique our house is when you step inside!
Guest access
We share living room and kitchen space with our guests especially around the large wood slow combustion fireplace in winter. Children over 5yrs old welcome (max.no.2)accompanied by parents.
Other things to note
We have a bio litic septic system (worm based) so ask that medications and chemicals are not disposed of down the drain.
