Water Standpipes
Water Standpipes Quorn and Hawker
The water standpipes in Quorn and Hawker have been automated to provide ongoing public access to water. They are easily accessed using credit /debit cards.
All users are now able to access the standpipes without the need for collecting a key and code from Council, making them more accessible after office hours and for visitors to the region.
All users of the water standpipes will be able to access the facility using their own hose connections. The facilities have both 50mm and 80mm camlock, male fittings for the hoses to connect to. Please ensure you bring your hose, with a female connection (ideally the hose may be fitted with a valve to prevent water loss when connecting).
Locations
The Quorn standpipe is located on Oval Road, across from the Stockyard Arena, as per pin below.
The Hawker standpipe is located on Wonoka Terrace, near the old dam and across from Blue Burt Park, as per pin below.
